If you’re struggling in your divorce, stop and close your eyes. Today I’m guiding you through some breathing and mindfulness. Then, let’s figure out what you can learn from this experience. Starting anew might feel daunting. But it actually might be the best thing that ever happened to you. It’s never too late to learn and grow and dream.

Having a clean slate can be so powerful! If you’re struggling, don’t underestimate the art of breathing; stop and breathe. Stop and close your ideas and center yourself. Think about something that brings you joy and think about that while you breathe in and out. You will be ok. Hang on to those thoughts of joy. Figure out what you can learn from your divorce or hardship. It’s hard to sit in failure or disappointment. But these are the very best moments of growth and learning. Learn to be more present, how to communicate, how to find happiness within, how to be a better person. Start dreaming again and then make a plan to make those dreams happen. Keep a journal so you can learn from yourself! Make new friends and find a support system. Find connection and intimacy with other (not talking about sex). Take control of your finances. It’s never too late to learn and grow. Read a book.
